Dasuza42 maybe you burned the cd at too high of a speed. Otherwise it won't work properly. Try burning at a slower speed (4x is best) if your burner supports it.

I hav installed this and i can say only one thing, ITS AWESOME!!! took only 3.5 gb hdd space(original took abt 10GB), & has got aero theme and sidebar, very stable and fast on my 2.4ghz P4 PC. took only 20 mins to install.

The questions that some of you are posting lead me to believe that you do not have the experience to do an install of this magnitude.

Look this is a copy of Vista that has been stripped down so as to make it fast when using it and fast whilst installing it.

If you are not familiar with this and read only the part of the description that says Vista SP2 then you are already making a mistake.

For those that want a full release of Vista, then use your OEM copy or go and buy it. Personally I like a light version that I can run in a VM for simple testing of Windows Software on my Mac.

Burning an ISO and booting from a CD, choosing proper options seems to be common sense for me.

Restoring your computer from this CD as one of the commenters said is going to only piss you off. Read the description and if you dont understand then please move on.

This is also not a forum, google some of the simple things and figure them out on your own. how to burn iso on windows in a google search will go a heck of a long way.

Again, mcube, thank you for a great upload and sorry the community goes ape shit over what you didn't do or wants support for an OS strip down that has a very specific purpose.

If a person doesn't know how to burn an iso image or boot from cd/dvd, this person obviously shouldn't be reformatting and installing operating systems.

This version is good. Windows update works fine, as do most programs. The only problem that I found was security center was disabled. This meant that you wouldn't know if it had a virus, so download some av before you do anything i.e. login. Also, some ethernet drivers were disabled, which meant that I could not connect to the internet. You may have to find a way around this, such as tethering your phone to get connected to the internet. Thanks though.

Installed it works great 100% working.

I did see the Arabic words in the time and date section but that was an easy fix just had to change the language preset.

works pretty smooth and fast it also allows you to install all MS Updates with no problems.

If you are installing and you get the screen asking you for a key simply leave it blank and go to next then when it ask if you want to install without a key say YES!!! EASY!!!!

I am running Win Vista Ultimate I really don't need Media Center good Media Player does the trick.

Awful I have tried this on 3 different computers and after installing the drivers the internet STILL Does NOT work! Not even on VMware, after installing the tools. Worthless torrent unless you just download it for the games it has... oh wait there are none! So when you download and install this you get a version of windows vista that has no internet, no games, no wallpapers, no screensavers, no video drivers(But aero works... oh well there are no video drivers to get it working). Poor!

I couldn't connect to the Internet after installing Vista SP2 Lite, but I found a LAN driver pack for Vista that solved the problem:

After downloading the driver pack using another computer, I copied it to my Vista SP2 Lite system. Then I accessed the Device Manager via the Control Panel and updated the driver for my network adapter.

Thank you. It installs as fast as promised, and the sp2 does the trick, all hardware works if you have the drivers. My machine is 512 ram, 2000mhz cpu, slow machine, but readyboost is working too!!!

DirectXwebsetup offers some extra boost for this one, and games and internet are ok. By the way, sound is enriched as compared to XP, so i can listen my music in brand new surroundings. Thanjs again, mccube, you are THE hacker..
